A little Spring Project

Post by NozMaximus on Thu Mar 20, 2008 3:30 pm

Just a few pre-finished teaser pics of a little spring project Smile

Twisted Evil I know its not the cleanest setup, but I just wanted to get it all in and hear it after the trouble of spending 5 full evenings on and having the first sub have a mechanical failure in 5 minutes of listening and had to get it warrenty replaced.

Now eventually gona pull it all back out and pretty it up and put it back in Smile

lol! ... That's what I was hoping for, but when the first one blew after 5 minutes it really gave me quite the scare. That box was a bitch to make, and I really didn't want to make a different one to meet some other Sub's manufacturer specs.

But it all worked out in the end, we'll just leave it at a hickup in QA with the first one.

Oh and for Renny:

The Sub is an Rockford Fosgate Power T212D4 (Dual 4 Ohm)
The Amp is a Hifonics Colossus Final Edition (Last Series of Analog Amps they ever made back in 02)

On another note, I don't want to carpet this setup. Anyone have any idea where I can get "Pleather" (Leather looking stuff, but not really leather) from? I tried the fleamarket I normally get my cheap box capeting stuff from, but no luck.

Fabric Land?? Any help would be apprecated Smile

Close to you at Woodbine/7 on the south/west corner is a place called Michaels. Big fabric place similar to Fabricland. They should have it.

What are you talking about MM? I went there, there's tons of arts and craft stuff, but no fabric in sight. I asked the cashier and said the closest thing is scraps of 12"x6" fabric Neutral

Sorry. I figured it was worth a try being close to home for you. I've picked up material there in the past. I thought they would have what you are looking for.
