Hood question

Are all 4th gen front hoods the same? I initially thought the hood was redesigned in '97 (since the headlights, grille, bumper, etc were redesigned), but through further research, it seems they may be the same. Can anyone confirm this?

I think they are all the same Nate, but I can't confirm it. I hear what you mean regarding the redesigned parts, but I'm almost certain the hood isn't affected by those changes. I'd think it would be a widely known fact by now (esp to 4th gen owners) just from us being around Maximas this long and reading so many posts.

Thanks MM. I might be taking a trip to Buffalo to pick one up. It seems almost impossible to find a reasonably priced used hood locally.

Ye sit is same, I found that out back in the days when I was looking for CF hood. Some one else can confirm that but I am quite sure it is.

I think they might be different. Reason I say this is the 5th generation FSTB from vibrant fits on maximized's car and on Himanshu's car. But I tried to fit the same thing On another TMEC car (ALI) who's was a little older 4th gen and it wouldn't fit without buckling the hood.
