Where to buy rotors and pads
Hey guys,
My brakes are making terrible noise since Friday. Anyone know a place in GTA to buy decent rotors and pads? I have brembo rotors from the third gen that will take care of the fronts, but need something for the back.
Which brings me another question, Is it okay to mix brake parts??
Thanks

Hey. It's okay to mix brands.
Talk to Digitaldashmax for cheap, brand-new rotors.

check out tutu auto at 14th and denison.
here is their website: https://www.tutuauto.com/
I picked up a set (4) cross drilled rotors for my 4th gen for them for 100 bucks few years back.. using them with raybesto quiet stops from a gd, basically for the price, you cant go wrong

I got the same deal from there 18 months ago and mine were warped within that time. To be fair, if you drive your car normally they may last longer, but if you are somewhat aggressive I wouldn't recommend cheap rotors.

Re: Where to buy rotors and pads
Unless you are tracking and concerned with brake fade, I would just get regular rotors, non-cross drilled, non slotted.

I don't know if Nathan has his hook up still but I got a great deal through his hook up on Brembo's and PBR pads.

So I guess I either have to go to Parts Source or the stealership?

Re: Where to buy rotors and pads
Hey just picked up front set of Brembo for mine, I had the same one for last 3 yrs approximately 90 K. Paid 154 for the pair from elite auto. You can call Jackie at 416-754-3750. He sounds shady but he does have the original part. Brembo part number 35314 and 35542 for rear. These are the cross drilled.

I ended up picking up the pads and rotors from parts source.
Picked up their first line pads and second line rotors.
Do these guys also have deals for pads? Might pick up a pair for the fronts.

Thanks for the link. I just called that guy but there was no answer. Do you happen to know the price for blanks rather than the cross drilled set?

Re: Where to buy rotors and pads
In case anybody's wondering where to get rotors, i ended up ordering Brembo blanks for the Max and the price from Tutu is $268 inclusive pickup. Also, i too suggest spending the extra coin on rotors to avoid getting a cracked rotor like i have in the rear now
