H&R Springs

Post by XoRoX on Fri Mar 28, 2008 3:42 pm

So thinking of lowering the max, what do you guys say about H&R springs, i dont want to drop the max too low as i do plan to drive it in winter and im only putting 17" or 18" max in terms of wheels. How much am i looking it for the parts and labour?
thanks,
XoRoX

Are these for 4th Gen, 5th Gen ...?

The H&R springs for 00-03 are great, I heard that its a great ride and a nice drop but price wise they go for about $220-240 and then labor is about $150-200. I would also think about getting Progress Springs which have a F 1.7" R 1.5" drop and they go for a lot less. You also have to think about getting aftermarket struts possible because your factory struts will wear prematurely.

Here's a link to help you out with that: http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/spring_strut_decision.html

When you factor in the price for labour, you should also factor in an alignment, which is a must-do after changing ride height.

alot of the guys here are also driving on CMS, I guess a little less expensive alternative.

but IMO don't lower your Maxima, its a total waste you will look just like others, I suggest put a lift kit. It will give that aggressive look!!!
